The People Behind Echo

Echo Northeast is led by two strategists with deep experience in art, community, and implementation.
James and Chani bring together artistic insight and operational clarity - shaping projects that are rooted in purpose, thoughtfully executed, and aligned with the people they’re meant to serve.

Co-Founder

James Pierre

James Pierre is a cultural strategist, creative producer, and community builder with a deep commitment to advancing arts equity and storytelling. James has led efforts to support local artists, produce site-specific installations, and design public programming that reflects and responds to community narratives.

With a background in both creative direction and social practice, as as Founder of the Adius Arts Initiative, James works at the intersection of art, advocacy, and access. His collaborations span nonprofits, cultural institutions, and grassroots collectives - always centering artists of underrepresented voices.

James brings a vision of cultural leadership that is grounded, collaborative, and future-facing - shaping the mission of Echo Northeast and its broader partnerships.

Co-Founder

Chani Langford

Chani began her career supporting the Co-Founder of a multibillion-dollar company who was also a venture capitalist and philanthropist, serving as a liaison across executive, philanthropic, and academic initiatives. That experience became a real-world master class in business, entrepreneurship, and strategic leadership.

With an MBA from Boston University and extensive experience spanning strategy and operations, change management, and talent development, Chani leads and designs projects and programs that connect people, process, and purpose. Her work focuses on translating vision into structure - aligning strategy, culture, and execution to create meaningful impact.

As the founder of ProDevic, her work sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and human development -helping people and organizations evolve, lead, and thrive in motion.
